More great news for business travel , corporate housing and executive accommodation providers to start the week. A poll of 227 travel experts confirms what we’ve been saying for weeks here at The Corporate Housing Network blog–Business travel in 2010 will “match or surpass last year’s levels and more executives will be opting for first class seats.”
“We’re seeing that business travel clients continue to book the same level of hotel accommodations as in the past, but we’re also seeing a noteworthy percentage of Travel Leaders business travel experts indicating a fair number of their clients are now starting to fly in business or in first class,” said Roger E. Block, the president of Travel Leaders Franchise Group, which conducted the poll.
More than a third of the experts questioned in the Travel Leaders poll said they had 11 percent or more bookings in first or business class, and 53 percent indicated between one and 10 percent of their clients were traveling “up front.”
Be sure to check back to The Corporate Housing Network blog this week for the latest news and insights into our collective world–business travel, corporate housing and executive accommodations.

Very Nice! Please be sure these travelers know they can still save money (maybe enough to pay for their upgrade!) and time by parking Off-Airport. We’d be glad to have them with US!

The most recent stats I could find were from 2008 and they said that nearly half of the UK’s companies were using serviced apartments for their business accommodation. I’d imagine that’s gone up now and business travel is definitely on the increase. Take me, I seem to spend an awful lot of time in serviced apartments in London on business trips!
