Transform your property into your clients’ most memorable accommodation

I have to admit, I must be living under a rock! What a great idea though–taking your corporate housing and transforming into a “themed” setting. For example, if you lease a unit that has the look and feel of a cottage, why not go all the way and make the physical surroundings resemble and English garden? Now that would really create some buzz and word of mouth among clients. Talk about making your property memorable. Just the thing a corporate housing client would like, staying in a property that literally transports them to another place in a very visual way.
Well, developers in India are doing just that. Not limiting it to the English garden or more parochial settings, they are building out housing with Tuscan Italian (called Tuscan City) and tropically-set themes like Bali, too.
One of these firms, TDI Infrastructure LTD is leading the way in India with this idea.
Tuscan City, designed around the theme of Italy, brings the look and feel of the true Italian lifestyle, including its design and architecture to India. Tuscan City is a much bigger project than what many corporate housing owners might venture into. It’s a township, spread over 40 acres of land, offering plots, row houses, independent floors and villas, all true to the Tuscan style, complete with fountains, bodies of water, cobbled streets and piazzas.
So when you’re getting ready to upgrade the look and appearance of your corporate housing unit or property, consider being a little creative with your improvement project. A quick trip to Home Depot and a little ingenuity could take your property far, and help it stand above the other offerings you are competing against.
Take a little time to dream this weekend (especially if you live in the eastern United States) and you might come up with something spectacular!
Stay warm!

A version of this concept started 35 years ago when we were doing ‘themed’ model apartments…we would set up three on lease up property. Examples: African Safari, Oriental Design, Traditional Americana, Italian Villa, Ultra Contemporary…it really did make the floor plan memorable…people would tour and say “I want the Oriental plan!” Love it!
