Warm weather have you thinking about landscaping for your corporate housing?

So it is spring–or so it seems.
If you are anything like me, that means you are looking at plants and seeds and getting grandiose ideas about what you’d like your landscape to look like this coming season.
Well, when it comes to corporate housing, there is one thing I’d urge you to consider before you take the plunge–the folks who will be staying there may not be there most days, and if they are, they most certainly will not be interested in yard work.
That said, there is something to keeping the lawn, trees and bushes at your rental property neat, well-maintained, nice and green, even lush.
These qualities will leave your guests with a positive impression, especially if they don’t have to be involved in any way with the upkeep or cost.
Advice? Invest in longer term landscape solutions. Choosing lovely trees and bushes, and a good quality turf will help you ensure that your investment has been made wisely, and not on a whim. Over time a well-manicured lawn and strong, healthy trees will convey a confident, professional image to tenants without breaking the bank each and every spring.
Believe me, at this time of year it is very difficult for me not to jump head first into my garden and landscaping projects. But if you want your corporate housing investment to grow the real green, be conservative about the amount of money you invest in seasonal items like perennial plants and flowers. You and your bottom line will be glad you did.
